The Russian Revolution and its Consequences – Dr. Matthew Rafael Johnson

Doctor Matthew Rafael Johnson, noted scholar on Russian history, Orthodoxy, and its relationship with the modern world joins us today to discuss the origins of the October Revolution, it geopolitical ramifications, and the parallels of the Soviet Empire with the modern day American one. In his own words, “Professor Johnson’s academic work is dedicated to the delegitimization of the global capitalist system and the demystification of the ideology that justifies it. This is a demonic, serpentine Leviathan spreading the postmodern acid of American-sponsored mass-zombification to the world. The neurotic capitalist ‘liberated the individual,’ only to create the mass-man: a crippled, malformed cipher almost entirely incapable of higher-order thought.”

  1. Looks like a keeper. The kind of show I archive and consult to synthesize things that I’ve read. The podcasts, and oral reports, really help with portions of previously read texts that were too challenging and over-my-head. And, of course, they help with analysis and histories that I haven’t read. As for Dr. Johnson, he’s doing “God’s Work”!

One of your best shows, Johnson is a powerhouse. Please start leaving links (or simply the titles) of the closing songs. Beautiful, moving choice to end this episode – WHAT IS IT?!

Not one of your best shows, gentlemen. Your guest’s suggestion that the killing of the Romanovs somehow was (magically?) linked to the emergence of the Spanish Flu was just bizarre.
